Why I Think Students Should Be
Able to carry backpacks from class to class in School.

One thing that I think
that students should be allowed to do at school is carry back packs to and from
each class. I believe there are very many practical reasons to why we should be
allowed to do this.
1. It
cuts time down on how long it takes a pupil to get from his previous class, to
his next destination
2.
It allows the student to be able to have no
excuse for forgetting something in his or her locker, because he or she will
not need to go to their locker.
3.
It allows the student to have no excuse for
forgetting a book or assignment at school because he or she will have put all
the books he or she needs into their back pack at the conclusion at this class
4. If
girls can bring their purses in, then the guys should be able to bring back
packs.
Now,
I know that teachers do not like them in the class room because it may cause a
distraction, the student may bring something not allowed into the classroom
setting, and they get in the way; but, I think that these issues could be well
controlled even though the pupil’s will have their back packs with them in
class. I, honestly, wouldn’t mind if the teachers wanted to search our
backpacks because I have nothing to hide. The pro’s far outweigh the cons and I
think that, if given the opportunity, this new freedom would work to the
benefit of the students and teachers.
With all of this being said, I think
one of the most vital freedoms we could have that would actually benefit us as
a whole, would be the freedom to have our back packs with us in the classroom
setting.
